Yvonne concluded her participation in the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington,
Florida with an outstanding set of results during the last week of the event.
Riding her number one horse, Foco Loco W, she was third in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix
Freestyle, where she scored 73.80% among tough competition.
With Aquamarijn she placed third in the Grand Prix for Special with a 69.5, and won the Grand
Prix Special with a personal best score of 71.59%.
This last weekend was also the one in which Yvonne debuted Kathy Priests’ Fredensdals Zig
Zag, a wonderful Danish warmblood by Zack who she competed in the Small Tour. This new
combination had a dream start, placing second in the Prix St. Georges with a 70.44% and
winning the Inter 1 also with a 70.44%. This horse has been the one selected to participate in the
upcoming 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Bogota, Colombia, and it looks like a
good decision.
With her results, Yvonne moves up in the latest FEI World Rankings to number sixty-five with
Foco Loco and one hundred and twenty-two with Aquamarijn.
